Double-Acting Operation
The SC80×300 uses two pneumatic air ports to control movement in both directions.
Compressed air supplied to one side of the piston causes the rod to extend, while air supplied to the opposite side causes it to retract.
A suitable directional or solenoid valve can be used to control the cylinder. Flow-control valves may also be installed to regulate extension and retraction speed.
Installation Recommendations
Use clean, filtered compressed air together with pneumatic tubing and fittings rated for the required operating pressure.
Ensure the cylinder is correctly aligned with the moving load and avoid excessive side loading on the piston rod. For machine design, confirm the required force, stroke, operating pressure, cycle rate and mounting arrangement before installation.
