Double-Acting Operation
The SC80×100 has two pneumatic ports. Compressed air supplied to one side of the piston causes the rod to extend, while air supplied to the opposite side causes it to retract.
A suitable directional or solenoid valve can be used to control the cylinder, with flow-control valves fitted where speed adjustment is required.
Installation Notes
Use clean, filtered compressed air and pressure-rated pneumatic tubing and fittings. Ensure the cylinder is correctly aligned with the moving load and avoid excessive side loading on the piston rod.
