SC63×50 Standard Pneumatic Air Cylinder – 63mm Bore × 50mm Stroke – Double Acting
The SC63×50 Standard Pneumatic Air Cylinder is a heavy-duty, compact double-acting pneumatic actuator designed for industrial automation, conveyor systems, packaging machinery, clamping, positioning and general pneumatic applications.
Featuring a 63 mm bore and 50 mm stroke, the SC63×50 delivers high pneumatic force over a short, controlled travel distance. Its robust SC-series tie-rod construction combines an aluminium cylinder barrel, strong end covers and steel tie rods for reliable performance in repetitive industrial environments.
The cylinder uses compressed air through two PT3/8 (G3/8) ports to positively control both extension and retraction of the piston rod. This makes it suitable for applications requiring strong, repeatable pushing, pulling, clamping or positioning movement in a compact installation space.

Double-Acting Operation
The SC63×50 has two pneumatic ports. Compressed air supplied to one side of the piston causes the rod to extend, while compressed air supplied to the opposite side causes it to retract.
A suitable directional or solenoid valve can be used to control cylinder movement. Flow-control valves may also be installed to regulate extension and retraction speed.
Installation Notes
Use clean, filtered compressed air and pneumatic tubing and fittings rated for the required operating pressure. Ensure the cylinder is correctly aligned with the load and avoid excessive side loading on the piston rod.
