Double-Acting Operation
The SC50×50 has two pneumatic ports. Compressed air supplied to one port causes the piston rod to extend, while air supplied to the opposite port causes it to retract.
A suitable directional or solenoid valve can be used to control the cylinder, while flow-control valves can be added to regulate extension and retraction speed.
Installation Notes
Use clean, filtered compressed air and suitable pressure-rated pneumatic tubing and fittings. Keep the cylinder properly aligned with the load and avoid excessive side loading on the piston rod.
