SC100×50 Standard Pneumatic Air Cylinder – 100mm Bore × 50mm Stroke – Double Acting
The SC100×50 Standard Pneumatic Air Cylinder is a heavy-duty double-acting pneumatic actuator designed for industrial automation, conveyor systems, packaging machinery, clamping, pressing, material handling and general pneumatic applications.
Featuring a 100 mm bore and 50 mm stroke, the SC100×50 delivers very high linear force over a compact travel distance. Its robust SC-series tie-rod construction combines a durable aluminium cylinder body, strong end covers and external steel tie rods for reliable operation in demanding industrial environments.
The cylinder uses compressed air for both extension and retraction, providing positive and controlled movement in both directions. With approximately 393 kgf theoretical extension force at 0.5 MPa, it is suitable for applications requiring strong pushing, clamping, pressing or positioning force.

Double-Acting Operation
The SC100×50 has two pneumatic ports. Compressed air supplied to one side of the piston causes the rod to extend, while air supplied to the opposite side causes it to retract.
A suitable directional or solenoid valve can be used to control the cylinder. Flow-control valves may also be installed to regulate extension and retraction speed.
Installation Notes
Use clean, filtered compressed air and pneumatic tubing and fittings rated for the required pressure. Ensure the cylinder is correctly aligned with the load and avoid excessive side loading on the piston rod.
